Power The Future Of Your Business With Solar Energy

Well, guess what.  Right now is the best time ever to add a solar system to your commercial facilities.  Rising energy costs is the world in which we live in – and the reality of that uncertainty is why leading organizations are choosing to add solar as part of a comprehensive energy strategy to reduce operational costs.  Running a business means that you eliminate risks when possible.  With Northwest Solar as your clean energy partner, your business can take control of your escalating energy costs and maximize the value of your solar investment.  And with a backup storage system, you add emergency power in case of loss of grid-tied electricity.  How’s that for reducing risk?

Businesses that decide to install a solar system have made a smart decision.  Not only are there Federal Tax Credits that may apply, but there are also other Federal, State, and Local incentives that can make solar even more attractive. And speaking of attractive, we use top of the line Monocrystalline panels that have a sleek, low-profile that not only looks great, but is also rated for increased electrical production.  Adding solar to your business is a smart decision that will provide extraordinary value from day one.

What Are The Benefits Of Adding Solar?

Save Money

Is your power bill a large part of your business’s expenses?  If so, let one of our Solar Specialists discuss all the benefits of adding solar as part of a cost reduction strategy for your company.

Reduce Energy Inflation

Do you know what your energy bills are going to be in 5 years?  In 10 Years?  In 25 years? Do you think power bills will go down in the future?  Northwest Solar can help your business reduce or eliminate electricity cost increases?

Backup Power

If the power goes out what happens to your business?  If it is important to keep your facilities going even when an outage happens, talk to us about adding backup storage power.  It may help lower your energy bills even further by reducing peak demand charges on normal days and at the same time provide a backup means to keep critical systems running when everything goes wrong. And if you already have backup diesel generators, battery backups still make sense because they can add an additional layer of protection as well as reduce your power bills even further.

Claim Tax Credits

For 2022 there are several incentives available for going solar.  Your business may qualify for the 26% Federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC), USDA REAP Grants and Loan Guarantees, and 100% Depreciation in the first year.  There are other State and Local Incentives that you may qualify for including net metering which is another great reason to go solar.

Show that sustainability is important to your customers and empoloyees

Your customers and your employees care about sustainability.  You should too.  Not only is it the right thing to do, but it also just makes good business sense.  Including sustainability as a core value of your business makes your customers feel good about doing business with you and your employees feel good about working at a company that cares about the future.  Powering your buildings with clean solar energy shows that you are a sustainability-focused company.

Commercial Solar Process

When you have made the decision to reduce your company’s dependency on grid-tied power and cut electricity bills, then it’s time to get started designing and installing your new solar system.  There is much more to it than just putting up solar panels.  Let’s take a look at the process and see how this is done.

Inspection

Northwest Solar is a licensed General Contractor and has Certified Energy Auditors on staff that will do an inspection of your facilities to make recommendations on energy efficiency as well as troubleshoot any problems such as possible roof issues or inadequate areas for solar panels.

Design

We take your available roof or land area and maximize it so that you get the best return on your investment.  We use the historical information from your power bills in solar modeling software to design the best system to meet your company’s needs.

Permitting

We make sure that all applicable permits are in place before the installation begins and when we are finished we coordinate with the local inspections department and the utility for final inspections to ensure compliance with all regulations.

Installation

This is when the real work begins.  We assign one of our project managers to your job to supervise your solar system installation from start to finish. The actual installation work will be done by one of our In-House Solar Installation Crews.  The vast majority of solar companies just hire subcontractors to do this work, but Northwest Solar is different. We know that the best way to have quality installations is to have our own crews that are made up of our own highly-trained employees.  These are our employees; they are not subcontractors that may have been doing roofing or concrete work the week before they show up at your facility to start installing your new solar system.  Having true In-House Solar Installation Crews means that we can control the construction process better and eliminate quality control issues easier.  Our Install Crews are made up of solar experts that know the components of your system inside and out and are just another way that Northwest Solar is changing how solar works.

Commercial Solar Financing

Now that you can see all the long-term benefits of adding solar energy to your business strategy, you may be asking what is the best way to pay for it?  Paying cash is always the fastest and least expensive option. You avoid paying interest and it simplifies the process.  But for some businesses, deploying upfront capital on a solar and battery system is just not feasible. If that is the case, then we work with you and your accountant or finance officer to find the solution that is best tailored to fit your company’s needs.  You may have your own financing already available, but if not, we can work with you to try and find funding options that best meet the needs of your business.

Clean Energy Made Easy

Making the switch to clean and free solar energy is not hard when you make Northwest Solar your clean energy partner. That’s how we are changing the way solar works. We will not simply make a recommendation to add as many solar panels as possible, install them, get paid, and then never hear from us again. What we do is different. We learn about your company goals and needs and then we design the perfect solar system for you. And that’s not all. We can help you with energy efficiency at your facilities and work with your finance team on available incentives and financing. In addition, we include 24/7 cloud-based monitoring as well as operations and maintenance of your solar system to ensure that it functions exactly as designed for decades to come.
